Handmade Batik Butterfly Quilt: Butterfly quilt

Who doesn’t love butterflies? This ‘pretty in pink’ quilt is comprised of shades of reds, pinks and purples—many of them batik fabrics. I just love the smell of a real batik. Batiks are made using wax and multiple dyes. When they are new, you can smell the wax! On the back is a pretty pinkish-peach colored floral print.

This quilt would make a great gift for that special person in your life or a beautiful accent in your home. Its size, 53" x 68", is perfect for a lap quilt and would work well folded at the bottom of a bed or on the top of a twin bed. It would look great thrown over the back of your favorite chair.

As with all our quilts, we pre-wash all our fabrics which are the finest cotton fabrics and are sewn with love.

It can be machine washed and dried on gentle cycle.
